The Position
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the production of automated robotic systems on large scale international projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the production process from start to finish, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of technical expertise, proven project management capabilities in industrial automation, and sharp business sense. You'll drive projects from concept to completion, ensuring client satisfaction and business profitability.
This is a full-time contract or permanent position with competitive salary and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the production process for large scale international projects involving automated robotic machinery and equipment
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with engineering, procurement, and operations teams
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that project milestones are met
- Monitor project progress and identify and address any issues or delays
- Ensure that all products meet quality standards and customer specifications
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and specifications
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements related to production
- Efficiently use ERP systems to track projects, resources, and finances.
- Identify and improve inefficient processes over time.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in program management or project management in a manufacturing or engineering environment, preferably with a focus on automated machinery and equipment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components, including robotics and automation.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies (e.g., Waterfall), software (e.g., MS Project), and best practices. PMP/PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
- Strong financial literacy and business acumen, with a track record of managing project budgets and driving profitability.
