The Job

We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Controller to join our operations team. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day handling of stock, including receiving deliveries, verifying and logging stock in our ERP system, organizing parts and components into designated areas, and ensuring assembly and build teams have the materials they need well in advance.

The role is central to maintaining efficiency and organization within our workshop and plays a key part in ensuring timely and accurate support for production activities. This is a full-time contract or permanent position with competitive salary and benefits.

Position Responsibilities

Requirements:
  • Approachable and collaborative, with strong communication skills for engaging with customers and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proven experience in inventory, stock control, or warehouse roles within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, ideally Odoo, for managing stock and inventory data.
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive, hands-on approach to task management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical components and assembly processes is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and stock handling.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel skills.
