We specialise in designing, developing, and manufacturing innovative products, tailored applications, and comprehensive engineering solutions that empower our customers with the flexibility and competitiveness they need to lead in their markets.- Program and configure robotic systems from KUKA, Fanuc, and Staubli to meet project-specific requirements.
- Develop and implement robotic motion paths, sequences, and behaviours for automated solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure effective integration of robotic systems with machinery and production lines.
- Develop and configure PLC and HMI software, primarily using Allen Bradley platforms
- Design automation logic and control sequences for machine operation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical, electrical, and software systems
- Implement motion control using servo drives, VFDs, and smart components
- Integrate sensors, field I/O, and industrial devices into complete automation systems
- Program and validate machine safety systems (e.g. safety relays, safety PLCs, light curtains, E-stops, and door interlocks)
- Ensure all safety systems comply with Machinery Directive, ISO 13849, or relevant local standards
- Coordination with third parties and end users
- Support or lead machine risk assessments during system design and pre-commissioning phases
- Identify potential hazards and propose mitigation strategies through safe system design
- Document safety requirements and ensure traceability through to final commissioning
- Design and configure SCADA systems (e.g. FactoryTalk View) for process monitoring, alarms, and data logging
- Set up secure and reliable automation networks, including VLANs, managed switches, and protocol routing (Ethernet/IP, OPC UA, etc.)
- Support integration with MES/ERP systems where applicable
- Participate in FAT, SAT, and on-site commissioning
- Debug and optimize control and safety systems in production environments
- Provide technical support and training to customers and operators
- Support sites with troubleshooting of system issues
- Prepare system documentation: Functional Design Specifications, network diagrams, safety validation reports, test records, and manuals
- Maintain accurate records of configurations and changes in line with our Quality Management System (QMS) and GMP standards
- Identify and implement system improvements during development and commissioning
- Support system upgrades, change controls, and post-installation service
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with PLC/HMI systems, preferably Allen Bradley
- Familiarity with machine safety systems, including safety PLCs and risk assessments
- Understanding of ISO 13849, EN 62061, and/or Machinery Directive compliance processes
- Exposure to validation protocols (FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ) and regulated industry standards
- Additional knowledge of robotics, vision systems, or data acquisition is an advantage
- Practical, self-driven problem-solver with strong technical judgment
- Effective communicator with clear documentation and reporting abilities
